We specialize in assisting renters who do not have perfect credit, cash down payment or enough income to debt ratio but who desire a path to home ownership. We do not represent sellers, but we get paid by them when our investors purchase the home from them. You pay us nothing; you just benefit from what we do!

Here is the Process...

  1. Apply on line with a one-time $75 application fee of $75.00. Not $75.00 per person like rental applications, $75.00 per family. This fee is for credit checks and administrative time for approval. Rent2OwnOrlando does not receive any compensation; it all goes to the company WHO IS GOING TO PURCHASE YOUR CHOSEN HOME AND LEASE IT BACK TO YOU. They must perform proper  "due dilligence" on you and  the property you have choose.  
  2. All People over 18 years old must apply but there is only one fee for entire household
  3. Get a quick approval, 1 to 3 days. 
  4. Pick out your home, must be a qualified home on MLS…(click here for all the qualified homes in the program) we know the homes, we assist with showing. You will have access to this list as soon as you are registered.
  5. Maximum purchase price $400,000. Some area may differ.
  6. Investors purchase the home for you, and you lease it from them, up to 5 years to close it.
  7. Investors only work with licensed real estate persons, that’s us.
  8. There is a pre-agreement on the purchase price of home, annual adjustments apply.
  9. No foreclosure or auctioned homes.
  10. Investor makes the home ready for you, homes requiring more fix up take more time.

Our Appreciation Gift and Referral Program to You:

The day you move into your home as a tenant, we will pay the investor that purchased your home $500.00 (Five Hundred US Dollars) towards your costs. We cannot pay you direct since it would be a violation of Florida Real Estate law. 

Your Qualifications for Approval:

  1. Household income over $45,000.
  2. Credit score 575 or above.
  3. No active bankruptcies, histories considered: rental, housing, debt and income ratios, employment (self-employed ok) and criminal, all household members over 18 must apply.
  4. Two months rent up front within 48 hours of a signed purchase agreement for your selected home.
  5. Move in typically 5-6 weeks, longer if repairs needed, but could be as soon as 4 weeks.
  6. Within 5 years you must qualify on your own with a 3rd party mortgage company should you choose to purchase the home; we have companies they work with; your choice.

  1. Try out a house or neighborhood before you buy and commit.
  2. Open way more possibilities, all MLS listed homes in approved areas may (qualifying factors)
  3. Give yourself time to establish down payment and credit concerns.
  4. Pick out a house you would love, not just what is available on a limited rental list.
  5. Bring up to 3 pets (cats or dogs), total maximum combined weight, 180 pounds,  no Dobermans, Pitbull, Rottweiler, Mastiff, or farm animals.
  6. Get your children in better school district.
  7. No obligation to purchase, and deposit is refunded if you change your mind, providing you are in good status with your lease. 
  8. Investor covers major repairs if they are needed during the lease, but minor repairs your responsibility.
  9. Quick move in time, but if you are in a present lease, do this early to be ready to move in when timeing is right.
  10. Homes are managed by professional management company.
  11. Close within any lease period with 60 days notification. 


  • Prices are subject to change, homes may have been sold or are pending, and some properties may not meet investors criteria for purchase. The homes listed meet the basic qualifications, but certain details which are not necessarily published by the listing agent may disqualify a home, such as the condition, age, HOA qualifications, lot sizes, less than 50% complete subdivisions, etc., to name a few.
